How It Works

The Property Assessment
It starts with a walkthrough, not a contract.
We learn the property, document its condition, locate its critical systems and shutoffs, and identify the risks that deserve attention while you are away.
The assessment is $195, and the full amount is credited toward your membership if you enroll.

Your Protection Membership
After the assessment, we recommend the appropriate level of protection for your home.
Every membership is built around the Galleon Watch Protocol: our systematic process for scheduled inspections, documented reporting, storm response, and decisive action when something is wrong.
We do not sell more protection than a home needs.
We also do not recommend less protection than it deserves.

Standing Watch
Then you stop thinking about the house.
Whenever your home is unattended, we stand watch. Through scheduled inspections, storm response, same-day reporting, and proactive action, we look for small issues early, before they have more time to grow.
After every scheduled visit, you receive a Galleon Report with photographs, findings, and a clear statement of your home’s status.
If something requires immediate attention, you hear from us directly, after the first protective steps you preauthorized are already underway.

Galleon was built to know what happens next.
Brendan spent twenty years with the Ocean City Police Department, retiring as a sergeant. That background matters when something goes wrong at your property.
Most people can recognize water on the floor. Brendan can recognize the warning signs, follow the authorized emergency plan to protect the property, and communicate clearly with the appropriate licensed professional.
He has spent his career being trusted with things that matter.
Your home is now one of them.
Galleon Home Watch is licensed, bonded, and fully insured. We do not hand your home to a third-party inspection service. Everyone who stands watch on behalf of Galleon is selected, trained, and held to the Galleon Standard.
The Early Warning System. Protected between visits, too.
Galleon Complete Protection includes the Galleon Early Warning System: cellular monitoring for temperature, humidity, water intrusion, and power loss inside the home.
Alerts reach our team first, day or night.
We investigate, take the appropriate first action, and call you with answers instead of alarms.
The Galleon Report
Proof, not promises.
After every scheduled inspection, you receive the Galleon Report that same day.
- The first page tells you everything you need to know in twenty seconds: your home’s current status, what we inspected, what we found, and what happens next.
- Photographs document every visit.
- No wondering whether anyone actually showed up.
- No calling to ask whether everything is fine.
- You will know because we will show you.
If we find something that requires immediate attention, the report will not be the first time you hear from us. We will call you directly, after we have taken the appropriate first steps to protect the property.
Every membership includes a documented protection plan, scheduled inspections while the home is unattended, same-day reporting, and storm response.
Inspection frequency is established during the Property Assessment based on how the home is used, when it is vacant, and what the property requires.
Certain homes require more. Galleon Private Client provides individually scoped protection for exceptional properties.
Founding Membership
Galleon is new. Our standards are not.
The first 25 homeowners to place their properties in our care will be recognized as Founding Members and will keep their original membership rate for as long as they remain continuously enrolled.
Founding Membership closes permanently once all 25 places are reserved.
The National Home Watch Association defines the service this way:
“Home Watch is a visual inspection of a home or property, looking for obvious issues.”
At Galleon, that definition is where the work begins, not where it ends.
Any NHWA accreditation applies only to Home Watch services.
